- Over 41,000 rides each year to elderly seniors and adult with disabilities providing transportation to doctor appointments, congregant meal sites and other venues.
- Support to adults with disabilities living in group homes and apartments operated by the Jewish Association for Residential Care (JARC).
- Respite for caregivers and adult day care for those suffering with Alzheimer’s and other cognitive memory disorders at the Adolph & Rose Levis Alzheimer and Adult Day Care housed on the Federation campus.
- Over $900,000 in financial assistance to qualified students attending Donna Klein Jewish Academy, Hillel Day School, Weinbaum Yeshiva High School and Torah Academy.
- Financial assistance to support more than 600 children who attend Jewish summer camp at the Adolph & Rose Levis JCC’s Camp Ted Weisberg each summer.
- Training and support to children and adults with disabilities.
The Federation helps
- Ruth Rales Jewish Family Service (RRJFS) provides emergency assistance for those experiencing temporary financial hardship, unable to pay for basic needs.
- Ruth Rales Jewish Family Service (RRJFS) provide daily hot kosher meals to dozens of low income elderly Jews.
- Clothe, feed and sustain over 180,000 elderly Holocaust survivors in the former Soviet Union through the Joint Distribution Committee.
- Rescue and resettle imperiled Jewish communities through the Jewish Agency for Israel.
- Create a Jewish future by supporting programs that allow Jews of all ages to explore their heritage through education, outreach and meaningful experiences.
