There are a number of events sponsored by the Jewish Community Relations Council that have become staples of the JCRC's Social Action programming. We hope you'll join us at our annual events:

Yom Ha'Shoah (Holocaust Rememberance Day)
Combining a sobering look at the past with a promise that future generations will Never Forget, the Community Yom HaShoah Commemoration is now in its 28th year. We pay tribute to the six million Holocaust victims through testimonials, prayers, and song. In 2007, the commemoration will be held on April 15th, corresponding to the 27th day of Nisan.

Yom Ha'Atzmaut (Israeli Independence Day)
The annual "Israel Under the Stars" celebration held at Mizner Park Amphitheatre is a lively and dazzling display. The evening begins with a moving ceremony in recognition of Yom Ha'Zikaron (Memorial Day) to honor Israel's fallen soldiers but quickly the somber gives way to the exaltation of Israel's independence. In 2007, the celebration will commence on the evening of April 22nd

CONNECT with other Jewish organizations that fight each day for tikkun olam, the repairing of the world.
