Through Create a Jewish Legacy (CJL), the Anne & Norman Jacobson Jewish Community Foundation (JCF) of South Palm Beach County is actively developing partnerships with local synagogues, schools and service agencies to ensure a strong, vibrant community through planned charitable giving. Thirty engaged leaders from throughout our Jewish community enthusiastically kicked off the initiative on December 6, 2011 at the offices of Proskauer. They learned how, by working together, we have the power and ability to make a major impact in securing our thriving Jewish community for future generations to come – with a wealth of customized resources including consulting and coaching, administrative support, marketing and training through our JCF. CJL Co-chairs David Katzman, CPA,and Anne & Norman Jacobson were joined by special guest Liora Herman from the Atlanta CJL Program in the presentation; Mark Schaum, Esq., CPA, rounds out the local CJL team as Vice Chair. The community momentum continues into the first of a series of CJL Training Institute Sessions on January 31, 2012. The Changing Philanthropic Conversation will be facilitated by Bryan Clontz, President and Co-Founder of Charitable Solutions, LLC. The mission of the Anne and Norman Jacobson Jewish Community Foundation of South Palm Beach County is to develop permanent resources to ensure the continuity of Jewish life, programs and services in our community, Israel and throughout the world. The Foundation accomplishes this through the development of permanent endowment funds, lifetime gifts, bequests in wills, trusts and planning giving programs. Learn more...
