Guide Biographies

of the region in general and Israel in particular, and is frequently quoted in Middle East related web sites. 

      Elliot is a graduate of the Ramaz School in New York. He received a BA with honors in Sociology as well as a BS in Biological Sciences from SUNY at Stony Brook, and an MA in Sociology from The University of Chicago. He is currently writing a PhD dissertation in Political Science at the University of Haifa on the strategies of Palestinian terrorist organizations. His specialties include military, political, and organizational sociology international terrorism, social change, and conflict.  

George Horesh 

      1997-Present Tour guide for private, family, and large groups and conventions, including for  various organizations, Jewish federations, Christian churches and groups organized by “Back to the Bible Radio Station.” Special service for VIPs in private mini van.  

      1988 – 1996 Mosaic Tour & Travel, Jerusalem/Miami, Florida. Served as Chief Guide for agency, supervised international sales and marketing activities; planned, facilitated and managed large conventions (over 1500 participants) for Jewish communities including Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, St. Louis, Miami, Palm Beach, Metro West, as well as the Israel Tennis Centers, developed new destinations in Europe and the US. 

      1980-1988 ISRAM Israel, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, Israel. Served as Head Guide, guided the company’s distinguished clients and assisted the tour operators. 


Yoram Preminger


      Worked with a variety of programs involving Diaspora Jews: As a counselor on the University's overseas student program;as a "summer shaliach" in Jewish summer camps overseas; and as a youth counselor on UJA Family missions.  Before starting his career as a tour guide he worked at the Israeli Educational TV Center.  

      1988- Present Since completing the Ministry of Tourism's guiding course, Yoram has worked full-time as a tour guide in Israel with different Jewish organizations, educational programs, Christian pilgrim groups and individuals.... More>>
