Costs:

  • Land Only – $2799 pp double occupancy (includes accommodations, most meals, taxes, tips, transportation, guides, security, entrance fees, and registration for the GA)
  • Single Supplement $1103
  • Air – TBD (scheduling and pricing currently unavailable)
  • A minimum individual new or increased gift of $360 to the 2008-09 UJA/Federation Annual Campaign is required to participate

Deposit:

  • $500 deposit per person refundable up to six months prior to trip departure less a $50 processing fee.
  • Fifty percent of the balance is required 60 days prior to departure and full payment is required 30 days prior to departure.
  • Deposit for air reservations will be requested at a later date from the airline with exact terms and conditions. Any non-utilization of seats will incur a loss of deposit money. Tickets are usually issued 21-14 days prior to departure. Any changes will incur a fee and cancellations will incur a fee plus loss of deposit money.

Reservations:

  • Completed applications are required no later than 90 days prior to departure.

Accommodations:

  • Three nights at the David Intercontinental in Tel Aviv
  • One night at Kibbutz Lavi in the North of Israel
  • Three nights at the Inbal in Jerusalem

Meals:

  • Includes breakfast daily and most lunches and dinners

Transportation:

  • Group transfers to and from airport
  • Touring and guiding on a luxury bus
  • Security personnel on each bus

urgent needs urgent needs
It's hard to reach Amir Peleg, even by cell phone. But given his role as a medic in Ashdod, Israel’s Magen David Adom (MDA) ambulance corps it's a forgivable excuse. Since moving from New York, where he volunteered as an EMT and fireman, to Israel in January 2009, Amir has been volunteering with MDA. He came to Israel during Operation Cast Lead, when life in Ashdod was radically halted because of the incoming the Kassam missiles from Gaza. After seeing the crisis unfold across southern Israel, he felt Israel "needed him more than ever."
