March of the Livingis a 2-week international, educational program that brings 10,000 Jewish teens from all over the world to Poland on Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Memorial Day, to march from Auschwitz to Birkenau, the largest concentration camp complex built during World War II, and then to Israel to observe Yom HaZikaron, Israel Memorial Day, and Yom Ha'Atzmaut, Israel Independence Day. The Southern Region is a proactive region, affiliated with the International March of the Living and sponsored by the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County, located in Boca Raton, Florida. More than 2,000 people from Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Zealand, Tennessee and Texas have traveled with us since 1996 and we are proud of our accomplishments. Each segment of the region raises funds in their cities. For additional information, please contact us by phone (561) 852-6045, email mol@bocafed.org, or visit www.molsouth.org.
