The cutting-edge, hands-on philanthropists of the Jewish Women’s Foundation of South Palm Beach County (JWF) have proudly launched the application process for their 2012 Grant Funding Cycle. In a new step this year, letters of intent for up to $20,000 from 501c (3) organizations for programs and projects that effect social change on behalf of women and girls will be accepted until September 26.

Nearly 175 women celebrated as JWF chairs Ann Kelman and Marlene Silver announced the 2011 grant awards. A total of $135,000 was granted to projects that benefit women and girls in the local community, in Israel and in Central Russia. Chaired by Rose Singer and Cindy White, the annual Granting Wishes Reception on March 7 at the elegant Boca Rio Country Club also featured best-selling author Naomi Wolf on “The Beauty Myth.”
