501c (3) organizations that offer a program or project that improves the status of Jewish girls or women here in South Palm Beach County, in Israel or anywhere in the world, are welcomed to apply for a grant up to $10,000 from the Jewish Women’s Foundation (JWF), through the Jewish Community Foundation of South Palm Beach County. Programs or projects must address the root causes of the challenges faced by Jewish women and girls and how the program helps.

Applications must be filed by December 17, 2007, and grants will be announced on March 12, at our Granting Wishes Reception featuring Eve Ensler, the award winning playwright and author of the Vagina Monologues. Grants will be distributed by April 30, 2008.

The JWF also has positions open on its Board of Trustees for women who wish have a positive impact on the lives of others through effective grant making.
