“Even as women’s lives have changed with the times, making Passover a holiday our families anticipate with joy, building wonderful memories and passing on traditions are still of vital importance to us,” said event Co-chair Julie Cohen. “So for a third year we’re offering an evening to excite our senses and re-energize us for our Passover preparations.”
“We’ll sample an assortment of kosher Passover recipes, enjoy a glass of wine with old and new friends, and get further inspired by the spring table accessories and décor at Bloomingdale’s.” added Co-chair Robin Friedman. “Each woman will also receive a 2010 Passover Favorites booklet.” Recipes may be submitted at www.jewishboca.org/passoverrecipes.
The evening is part of the “Spirit & Spice” series of The Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County’s Dorothy Seaman Department of Women’s Philanthropy and Metro Division, reaching women throughout the community with vibrant educational, social and philanthropic opportunities.
In addition to hosting the evening, Bloomingdale’s Boca Raton is pleased to donate 10% of tracked sales from the event to the Jewish Federation. The Department of Women’s Philanthropy is generously sponsored by Oppenheimer and Boca Raton Community Hospital. Metro Division is sponsored by The Sandelman Foundation; Successories, Inc.; and TD Bank.
