The young Jewish community has been moving with Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County's Metro Division, and now they're taking it to the ice. On Sunday, April 3, 2011, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, all are invited to see old friends and make brand new ones on their blades of glory at the official practice facility of the Florida Panthers: Saveology.com Iceplex is located at 3299 Sportsplex Drive, Coral Springs.

All ages will also enjoy music, games, dinner and prizes, with dietary laws observed. The couvert is $12 per person with advance registration, or $18 at the door. Children ages 3 and under admitted free of charge.

 “Metro on Ice is a great opportunity to spend some truly fun, quality time with your children, in the company of other families that care about the community,” said Linda Schwartzman, who is co-chairing the event with Rachel Rudensky.  

“This is our third family event of the season, and our previous bowling and Chanukah events each brought more than 150 people from diverse Jewish backgrounds, neighborhoods and denominations all together as a unified community,” said Gadi Soued, Metro Community Vice President. “This is a true reflection of the Jewish Federation as an organization - Jews from all streams coming together to help Jews all over the world."
