Summer heat and travels can’t stop our community’s young Jewish adults in their 20s, 30s and 40s from getting together for prime networking and socializing. On Monday, August 1, 2011 from 6:00 – 7:30 pm, they’re all enthusiastically invited to Prime Cigar get on the move and make new connections with Metro Division of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County. Prime Cigar is located at 2240 NW 19th Street in Boca Raton.

Newcomers are most welcome, and the couvert is only $25 – with no minimum Federation gift required to attend. Guests will receive a cigar and hear a short presentation from Rex Snyder of Ashton Cigars. They’ll also enjoy a complimentary drink and light appetizers, with dietary laws observed.

“Our upcoming Metro season will be full of activities to get together with other young Jewish professionals and families,” said Lauren Friedman, Metro Social Chair. “These are a great way to meet new people who have energy and ideas, and to get involved with the community. Our events will include a Wandering Happy hour on the first Thursday of each month with locations rotating around the Boca Raton area to keep things fresh.”

“Summer networking events are very limited, but we’re all still here,” said Dan Levine, a Metro leader who organized this event. “Don’t miss out on this opportunity to continue to network and grow at a unique venue. Come on out, learn a little about cigars, and if you are already an aficionado, enjoy the opportunity to light up a great cigar with your friends and colleagues while getting to know our Federation.”

Metro Division is generously sponsored by The Sandelman Foundation. The Cigar Event is generously sponsored by Lesser Lesser Landy & Smith PLLC, Attorneys at Law.
