Young and Jewish? Federation's Metro Division Has Plans for You!

Young Adults Invited to Step Up and Prepare to LEAD

A new opportunity to prepare for Jewish community leadership will soon be available for young Jewish adults from the Boca Raton, Delray Beach and Highland Beach area. The Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County’s Metro Division, which offers residents in their 20s, 30s and 40s opportunities to volunteer, make meaningful social connections, enjoy family activities, build their businesses and become philanthropists, is recruiting for its new Leadership Education And Development Series (LEADS).

Young Families to Chill Amid Warm Company at Metro on Ice

The summer heat can’t slow down our energetic young Jewish community, and they’re taking it to the ice for Metro’s first family event of the season. Young adults, and kids from tots to teens, are invited to skate and enjoy dinner with old and new friends on Sunday, September 11, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, at Saveology.com Iceplex in Coral Springs.
Young Adults to “Light Up the Summer” at Prime Cigar August 1

Summer heat and travels can’t stop our community’s young Jewish adults in their 20s, 30s and 40s from getting together for prime networking and socializing. On Monday, August 1 from 6:00 – 7:30 pm, they’re all enthusiastically invited to Prime Cigar get on the move and make new connections with the Federation's Metro Division. $25 couvert includes cigar, a drink, appetizers and short presentation from Ashton Cigars.
COMEDY NIGHT LIVE: Young Donors to Celebrate with National Headliner Gary Gulman

Helping the community is serious business, but young local Jewish leaders are once again out to prove it can also be uproarious. Comedy Night Live, the season's biggest, boldest and most boisterous young adult event of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County, will take place on May 12, 2011. The place to be: Zinman Hall turned Chic Comedy Club on the Federation campus, 9901 Donna Klein Blvd, Boca Raton. Accompanying the comedy will be hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, including a L'chaim vodka Martini Bar, with dietary laws observed.
Families Invited to Chill at Federation's Metro on Ice

160 Kick Off Metro Family Programming with Afternoon of Bowling

Metro Business Regrouping at Tuesday Schmooze Days II

Continuing the networking fervor amid Asian flare, young Jewish adults in business and professions will launch a second season of Tuesday Schmooze Days on October 12, 2010 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.  Once again, the place to be seen and get known will be Asia Sushi :: Wok :: Grill in The Fountains, 7600 W. Camino Real in Boca Raton. This series is presented by Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County's Metro Division for adults in their 20s to 40s.
