The Federation's young leaders and donors proved beyond a doubt that while helping the community is serious business, celebrating their efforts can be uproarious. In their New York chic, more than 125 of them filled the New York Comedy Club in Boca Raton with the sounds of hilarity on April 22 for the 2010 Metro Division and Ben Gurion evening.
Helping the community is serious business, but young local Jewish leaders are out to prove that it can also be uproarious. Ben Gurion Society members and others are invited to put on their New York chic and find out how on the evening of April 22 with comedian Bobby Collins. The season’s biggest, boldest and most boisterous young adult event of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County will take place at New York Comedy Club in Boca Raton. Alongside the comedy, guests will experience the great flavors of New York City, with dietary laws observed.
Something fresh and exciting, profitable and engaging came to South Palm Beach on November 12, as 50 business professionals experienced the cutting edge SPEED Networking. Metro Business, part of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County, hosted the evening in Zinman Hall on the Federation’s campus.
The momentum continued on the Metro Business track as more than 70 professionals gathered for the finest in networking and Asian tidbits on October 13. Asia :: Sushi Wok & Grill in Boca Raton was again the place to be seen and get known at the second Tuesday Schmooze-Day networking evening, sponsored by Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County’s Metro Division.
Business professionals are invited to experience something fresh and exciting, profitable and engaging, as Metro Business brings a cutting edge networking concept to South Palm Beach County next month. Jewish professionals on the Metro track will reach new velocities, making new friends and business connections at SPEED Networking on November 12, starting at 5:30 pm in Zinman Hall on the Federation campus west of Boca Raton.
Nearly 120 Jewish professionals were on the move, meeting and making new connections at the Metro Business Networking Kickoff Event on September 9. The “Metro” energy was high as they enjoyed a cocktail reception amid the Elaine Baker Gallery's world class artwork at The Gallery Center in Boca Raton. Guests heard from Metro Business Co-chair Gadi Soued and Craig Zeuner about the personal value and professional benefits of getting involved.
South Palm Beach County’s Jewish leadership should be in good hands for some time to come. The community was well represented by Cindy Orbach Nimhauser, Eric Matheson, Larry Blair, Bryan Drowos and Dan Levine at the National Young Leadership Cabinet of UJC/Jewish Federations of North America annual retreat. They joined more than 200 volunteers and professionals, from 42 North American communities, for leadership training and inspiration.
